The HighlandsThis existing 1970’s ranch needed the update of a total renovation. JNI selected all interior and exterior finishes including a cabinetry design, paint, ceiling details, added skylights, and fireplaces in both the interior and exterior spaces. In the client’s own words, “As a Realtor, I had seen and loved Julie's work. I wanted a bit of drama, as well as a touch of glam!! I know her attention to detail and expertise on plan review is unsurpassed. She was such fun. I can't wait to do another project!!” |
The SunriseJNI’s hands on management of the construction process included revision of the architect’s plans with redesign of the grand staircase and the addition of a formal powder room. With the builder, JNI directed all design fundamentals; interior and exterior trim treatments and finishes. JNI coordinated with the general contractor and selected all electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, flooring and paint finishes, then supervised all phases of the home’s creation. After the home’s completion, JNI provided all decorations and furnishings throughout the home. |
The MediterraneanTo accommodate the client's desire for a casual, natural Mediterranean feeling, antique pine floors and rustic finishes were incorporated with the primary focus of the kitchen as the heart of the home. |
The LandingsA corporate executive couple who knew what they wanted, but had no time to implement their vision, hired JNI to revamp their new, "basic vanilla" condominium. |
Lasata Place - "Peaceful Place on the River"This magnificent waterfront property is the dream home of Amelia Island’s most celebrated and sought after interior decorator, Julie Newton Bennett, the incredible talent and driving force behind J. Newton Interiors. |
The PenthouseA “bare-bones” ocean front condominium becomes “The Penthouse” and
the custom designed metal entry doors speak for themselves with swing-away glass panels that allow fresh ocean breezes to circulate throughout the Art Deco style island penthouse. |
Carlton DunesAfter the clients' purchase of a second home on Amelia Island, their tastes and desires changed drastically, and they wanted a more sophisticated design application for their new condominium purchase. The gentleman specifically requested COMFORT, and the lady of the home explicitly requested "A RED Bedroom", as well as clean design and function for children while retaining an air of sophistication. |
