Lasata Place

The Focus – For her personal home, Julie Newton Bennett’s wanted a gracious place to entertain local and out of town friends, enjoy the outdoors, Amelia River and the nostalgic features of the old Gerbing Gardens grounds on which the home is built.  Julie wanted a light-filled working space for herself and for her home to be spacious, elegant yet casual, comfortable and livable with perfect flow for entertaining both indoors and out.

To pay homage to her husband’s prowess as a big game hunter and avid outdoorsman, she included special features that celebrated all facets of his enjoyment of outdoor sports such as fishing, hunting, golf, and of course his penchant for CrackerJacks® and playing a friendly game of poker with his buddies.
